Our Board of Deacons is the service arm of the church. We support individuals in the congregation through prayer, phone calls and other needed help. We maintina the paryer list each week and facilitate emergency prayer requests. Each Sunday we provide support by having the Sanctuary ready for services, attendance tracking and closing the church after worship. We also provide local mission support by holding food drives throughout the year, supporting a local Food Cupboard. Flowers are coordinated for Christmas and Easter for members and shut-ins alike. We honor our mothers and fathers of the congregation with small gifts. Each year we hold a fundraiser (historically a plant sale or bar-b-q) for a local family needing help with medical expenses.
